The Metro & Zone 9 Pennants season commenced today. Well it did for some of the guys at least, because the miserable weather washed out a number of matches. We at Belrose managed to play despite the continual showers but no puddles appeared to disrupt the games.

Just as a side issue. Notice how the Bulls use innovation with the Green Keeping, click on the photo below to view One Happy Camper, NOT - "GO THE BULLS".

Grade 1 Were leading Double Bay by 15 shots after 43 ends. Waiting on overall results from Bowls NSW and we will update those as the results come to hand.

Grade 2 No play, washed out. Zone 9 Competition as are all the latter grades.

Grade 3 Lost to Asquith 70 - 56. Halfway through the game the Bulls were leading by some 20 shots. However Asquith stormed home, excuse the pun.

Grade 5 No play, washed out.

Grade 6 No play, washed out.

Grade 7 Lost to Neutral Bay / North Sydney by three agonising shots 67 - 64.

Late note just in ....Pistol, not sure why the results are not on the BNSW website; those from some of the other sections are there. Anyway, Belrose Grade 1 beat Double Bay 67-43, 3 rinks to nil, 10 points. Go Bulls!!
